Getting Started
Welcome to Krafte — a manufacturing management platform built for small and medium-sized producers. This section walks you through registration, initial company setup, and your very first actions inside the platform.
Registering Your Account
Krafte offers a 30-day free trial with full access to every feature. No credit card is required to get started. After the trial period, you can choose a plan that fits your business.
- Open your browser and navigate to krafte.app.
- Click the Start Free Trial button on the landing page.
- Enter your email address and choose a strong password (at least 8 characters, including a number and a special character).
- Click Create Account to submit the registration form.
- Check your inbox for a verification email from Krafte. If you do not see it within a few minutes, check your Spam or Junk folder.
- Click the Verify Email link in the email. You will be redirected back to Krafte and logged in automatically.
- Your 30-day free trial is now active. You can see the remaining trial days in Settings > Subscription.
Setting Up Your Company
After your first login, Krafte guides you through a company setup wizard. You can also change any of these settings later from the Settings page.
- Enter your Company Name — this will appear on invoices, shipments, and the client-facing quick-order page.
- Upload your company logo by clicking the logo placeholder and selecting an image file (PNG or JPG, recommended size 512×512 px).
- Select your preferred language from the dropdown. Krafte supports 13 languages, and the entire interface will switch immediately.
- Choose your base currency — this is the primary currency used for all prices, reports, and cost calculations (e.g., EUR, USD, PLN).
- Optionally enable a secondary currency by toggling the switch. When enabled, you can enter prices in both currencies throughout the platform.
- If you enabled a secondary currency, set the exchange rate (e.g., 1 EUR = 4.50 PLN). This rate is used for automatic conversions across the platform.
- Click Save to apply your company settings.
First Steps After Setup
With your company configured, here is the recommended order of actions to get your production management up and running quickly.
- Add your raw materials — go to the Materials page and create entries for every raw material you use in production. Include prices and stock quantities.
- Create your products — go to the Products page and add your finished products. Define recipes (compositions) that specify which materials are needed to produce each product.
- Set up production — create your first production batch or production order to see how Krafte tracks material consumption and product output.
- Invite your team — add colleagues so they can manage inventory, run production, or handle orders depending on their role.
- Explore the Dashboard — once you have some data in the system, the Dashboard will display KPI cards, alerts, and charts to give you a real-time overview of your operations.
Inviting Team Members
Krafte supports multiple users with role-based access control. Each team member gets their own login and sees only the features relevant to their role.
- Navigate to the Users page from the sidebar menu.
- Click the Invite button in the top-right corner of the page.
- Enter the team member's email address in the invitation form.
- Select a role from the dropdown. Available roles are: Owner (full access including ownership transfer), Admin (full access to all features), Manager (sales, clients, and orders), Production (production batches and orders), Warehouse (inventory and materials management), and Accountant (financial reports and cost data).
- Click Send Invitation. The team member will receive an email with a link to create their account.
- The invitation is valid for 7 days. You can see pending invitations in the list and cancel them if needed.
- Once the team member accepts the invitation and creates their account, they will appear in the active users list with their assigned role.
